Default plans to sell the house

Not sure exactly when but we are thinking sometime within the next year. That means everything needs repainted and all of the carpets need reset. Has anyone painted an entire house before, how long does it take? I am not looking forward to this at all.

I would imagine if you try to do it all at one time it would take a while. I would suggest that you start with one or two rooms and go from there. If you are planning all this within the next year you have time, so don't put a lot on yourself at once. Good luck.

I would say it depends on how big your house is and how many rooms it has. Though, I agree with MBW about starting with one rooms or two. It would make your project less tedious and more fun.

I hate painting too but in the end its worth it, some homes get less than asking price when the rooms are very dark or a color that the average person may not like. The time spent painting is worth it in the end if you can get what you are asking (or more).
