Default Non-healthy day

My daughter has decided that today will be her "unhealthy eating" day. She has been so good for a couple of weeks. So far today she had Crunch berry cereal, Chicken sandwich from Arby's and now Salt and Vinegar chips for a snack. I told her it's okay to eat bad for 1 day. Tomorrow we eat healthy again!

Nothing wrong with eating unhealthy once in a while, especially for kids. We ate bad today too but we also played Just Dance 3 for about 2 hours a bit ago. I think we danced off a lot of calories.

Oh wow! That is a lot of junk food for 1 day. I say finish it off with a big bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup! Nothing wrong with a bad day once in a while. I love Just Dance 3 too!

Well, that's good for her. I mean, it's not really good but it's good. I think even the most devoted dieter need a cheat day once in a while.

When you are on a diet program, I think there is nothing wrong with having a cheat day every two weeks or so. Just remember to get back on track after the day is over.

For me, it's much easier to adhere to healthful eating habits if you allow yourself some rewards. Rather than have a junk food day, I usually treat myself to a small portion of something decadent every day. I'm not sure if I could wait a whole week to reward myself. Besides that, after a whole day of eating anything I wanted, it would be really challenging to go back on the wagon.

That is a good point A2C. The challenging part of having a cheat day is getting back on track. It would be worse if they extended the cheat day for a few more days, like what they do on holidays.
