Our puppy is the ultimate destroyer of anything collar or harness like. So far he has three of each under his belt. Sometimes we are not even sure how he does it. Is leather better than the other types?
I would think he could chew through leather also. We had one like that. It was amazing how quick he could destroy one. I thought the harness would be better, but not with him. He did out grow it but it took several months. I finally just started putting the collar on when we took him outside for a walk. Saved some money that way.
I was thinking a collar that he can not bite when he is wearing it would be okay. I guess time will tell, we should get it in today's mail. The first one he had lasted roughly 12 hours.
