Do you think the commercials on television influence your children, as far as what they want to eat and wear are concerned? I am glad my kids don't seem to be influenced by the commercials that much.
It think the ads influence my kids to some extent. I often told the kids that the real items they said they wanted were not like what they saw on TV. Sometimes they believed in me, the other times they didn't.
I definitely think that commercials influence kids. My kids don't ever see commercials at our house (thank-you Netflix!) I think it is sad that people like Mitt Romney want to cut funding to stations like PBS, and make them fund themselves through commercials for sugary cereal and useless toys.
