I wish I could say that I was but I'm afraid I'm not. I do use them but not like I probably could. I will say that I was in the grocery store the other day and saw a lady that had to be one. I lost track of how many she used. She must have saved a bundle!

I take nothing in extreme otherwise it comes to overload you. I still use coupons do not get me wrong but I think a good part of saving is paying attention to what you spend and how you are spending it.

I've seen people with their shopping carts loaded who pull out a stack of coupons. That's far beyond anything I'll ever do. I wonder if they need everything they get with those coupons. If you buy something just because you can get a good deal, I don't necessarily view that as saving money.

I wish I was but I am not. I want to save a ton of money too. I would only buy products that I was going to use though. I am slowly getting back into using coupons. I wish I was better at it.

A friend of mine was telling me about a couponing program on TV. She said this woman had her basement packed full of products that she had bought. I'm not sure if this would be considered extreme couponing or hoarding.

We save money using coupons. But I would not say extreme. We do not clear out shelves, get $500 worth for $5 or anything like that. 50% is a good goal overall I think. Those in the show never seem to buy meat or produce.

I've noticed that about produce, too. Most of the coupons seem to favor packaged foods. As much as I like to save on groceries, I like to eat in a healthful way. In the long run, that can save you a lot more money than using a few coupons.

The shopping trips on Extreme Couponers are carefully planned and orchestrated to get the largest value for the lowest price. Those people don't shop like that every week, any more than we do. I'm happy with shaving half off my grocery bill every week which is what I average.

Those extreme coupon shows on television are not real. Stores will not let you use coupons to buy hundreds of toothbrushes. You also have to pay tax on items. I use coupons and have actually gotten lots of stuff for free. I usually have to pay tax. I donate things to our church, and I keep a pantry open to my family, which helps them save money.

That is really nice of you Miss Priss. I wish I could get to the point where we were shaving off half of our grocery bill. There aren't a lot of coupons for the types of foods we eat though.
