If you don't already, start checking out your local businesses on Facebook. One store in my town recently offered a deal on their page that they said was exclusively for their Facebook supporters. I'm going to start using the "Like" button more if it means getting some good deals.

How do you find the local places? Are you just typing in the names of the places near you? Or is there some feature on Facebook that links you to anything local?

Typing in the name of the business is one way I find them. I also find a lot of them by going to local friends' walls and see who they "Like." Also, if the business has a website, they'll often have one of those Like Us on Facebook links.
