Coupons and discounts on various products and services are constantly offered by the stores, manufacturers and service providers. That is great, but do you sometimes wonder about the catches?
Usually I will not worry so much about the catches. Offering coupons and discounts is a common marketing strategy. Though, I think you should pay more attention to the coupons offered for food items.
Yes, I think the 'catch' is to get you to try the product. If it is something that I am interested in trying then I will use the coupon or discount available.
Yeah, it's just the way they increase sales or get rid of old stock. It wouldn't harm you unless the quality of the products or services was compromised.
The only catch is that the company is trying to get you to try their product and hopefully fall in love with it. For most people, if they like it, they'll buy it whether they have a coupon or not.
