Has anyone ever had this happen where a place put a lien on your property like a home or anything else? Someone I know is fighting a case but their lawyer is an idiot & I told him to get a new one.
Often times if it has gone that far it is easier just to pay the lien unless you can prove before a judge that the debt was absolutely not yours. I have never had one, but my job used to be to send out notices when you got one.
