Default all the debt talk

I see a ton of politicians and wannabe political bloggers out there trying to come up with different number ways to set what should be right. The 9-9-9, the 20-20-20, what is next?!

Well, perhaps this indicates what a lot of people have known for a long time---the tax code definitely needs an overhaul. There are too many loopholes that too many lobbyists have been instrumental in putting in place.

I hear all those number plans, too. How about, instead of coming up with these crazy numbers, someone actually do something. Everyone is always all talk, and then they have nothing to show for it! Is it just me, or did I miss the "Change", the last person promised?

Change seems harder and harder to come by. There are so many ways the political process can be used to obstruct things that a few wealthy people want, and it's usually not what is the best for the most people.

I wonder if anyone is going to drop any notes seeing as today is 11-11-11? I kid but the number game does get pretty old pretty darn quick. I never really know what is coming out of the mouth, whats true and what is a fib.

All the numbers make my head spin. There is just so much talk, and not enough action. Sometimes, I just wish the politics would stop, and someone would do something to help our country out of this hole.

I see people talk about it but not many people trying to do something about it. All talk and no action comes to mind. I think thats why so many of the protestors are upset.

I really wish that rich people weren't allowed to be in politics, and I don't think corporations should be considered "people" either. Our whole political process is so corrupted I wonder if it can ever be fixed.

I wonder if the reform of the tax code is going to be one of the divisive isues of the next election? Now that Herman Cain is out of the race, I haven't heard any "new" plans to try and fix things.

I just read that social security payments have increased. Looks like Congress is only interested in being Santa so they can all get re-elected. This debt isn't going anywhere as long as there are Democrats and Republicans in charge. From what I can tell, they are equally to blame for this colossal mess.
