Default Retiring In Florida?

I have been thinking about my retirement and I'm so tired of snow and ice in the winter. The winters have been getting so much worse, it seems, since I developed arthritis. So how many people are thinking the same thing.

Well we live in Florida and the winters aren't near as bad as up north! We do get some cold, just don't have to deal with all that snow and ice, thank goodness!

Sounds like a good plan you have there. I do believe Florida or maybe any of the other southern states would be the place to retire to.

Florida is a fairly cheap state to live depending on where you go to. Taxes are not too bad here. It is HOT for a long time. You will be using your a/c a whole lot.

The winters are not too bad here in central Florida. We have a few frosts per year, but I have yet to see snow. I'm told it has in the most northern parts though.
