What are your retirement goals? When do you want to retire and how much do you want for your nest egg? What will you do with your time?

I just graduated college, so I haven't even given this much thought. I suppose I should before I get a job so I will know what to put in to my 401K. If I get one that is.

I would be happy if I could do it in my 50's. Have everything paid off, and just have fun with the wife and kids and work on my hobbies.

I agree, I want to stay out of debt between now and then. I want to pay off my house and bills and have enough saved that I can take vacations and enjoy my retirement. Being retired won't do me any good if I'm broke.

I want to work until I am in my mid 60s. I think retiring in my 50s would be a little too young and I would not have amassed enough money by that point in time.

I am sure we will be working for a good bit of time even if its just a side job. We both prefer to stay busy rather than bored, maybe not as much as we are now but a little bit.

I hope I am not as busy in my retirement as I am now. I do not even remember what it feels like to be bored anymore. I would give anything to experience just a little bit of boredom!

It is so weird because I hear so many people talk about how busy they are. It seems like everyone is busy all the time, everyone but me. I need to find a job that involves my degree. Delivering pizzas is getting old.
