Has anyone ever considered investing in an annuity for retirement? I've heard of equity-index and fixed annuities, but I'm sure there are others. Does anyone know of specific pros or cons of any certain type of annuity?
Annuities are confusing. There are so many kinds and conflicting opinions as to what is good and what is not in your best interest.
Variable annuities get the most negative marks from financial experts based on what I have found. The one I want to look into is a third generation annuity.
