I know there are some banks that run 100% online. They do not have any physical locations. I have heard they often offer good deals for their accounts. I would feel nervous about not having a branch I could go to. What does everyone think of these?
I do only online banking with my bank but it has a physical location near me. I don't know that I would want to deal with a bank that is totally online. If I have a problem with an account I can go to the local branch and talk to them and get it straightened out.
We do our banking online and I love it, I have hated wasting paper for so many years waiting for the place to finally catch up with the rest of the world.
I never had an account on an online bank though I am not against online banking. I am just used to my local bank where I can deal with its people in person.
My answer is exactly the same as Lonnie's, I prefer to bank online without going to the local bank near my place. But if the site is down, I can go to the local bank to inquire about my account statement.
