I keep hearing that the Bigger banks (BofA) are losing customers left and right. People are withdrawing their money and going to smaller banks (hometown banks). They are saying it’s all about the fees that these bigger banks will be charging soon. Have you switched? Do you use a big bank?
I use a small town bank already, I mean they have a lot of locations but they are not as big as Bank of America. Citizens is the name and so far I have not seen any paperwork that they are changing their fee structure. I would be switching though if I had Bank of America and they were going to start charging me a lot more.
I do bank with Bank of America and I haven’t seen anything terrible yet. I mean I heard that they are going to start charging for using your debit card but I have not gotten any notices yet. Has anyone? If they start charging more fees I will certainly change banks.
Actually, I heard on the news that today is designated as a day for people to close out their bank accounts at banks with fees and to switch to a credit union, to send a big message to the banksters.
