Did you know you can make up to $600 per survey site a year and not have it reported? If you register with a bunch you can really make a lot of undeclared income every year.

I don't think that is quite how it works. While they don't have to send you any kind of documentation you still are supposed to report your income for all sources.

It's true that you legally aren't required to declare income under $600 annually, but I still would if I were receiving it from multiple sources. I don't have the patience to make that much from survey sites anyway.

I would rather report it myself on time and with the proper paperwork than take a chance to end up in IRS court dealing with something that seems simple yet ends up being a hassle later on. Something about the idea of upsetting Uncle Sam upsets me just thinking about it.

I did not know per survey site. I know if you make less then $600 total, you do not have to report it. I worked a "summer job", where they paid us around $500 for the summer. It was a school work program. Got shop one year, and marine biologist another. That was great as we took trips to the beach.

I do not think I would ever make that much doing a survey. I can not even qualify, for most surveys. If I made money doing surveys, I would report it on my taxes. Better safe than sorry.

It means $50 a month? I don't think I could reach the amount even after adding up the money I got from all survey sites I joined. Moreover, I think taking surveys is a bit of a waste of time.

I really wonder how many people who make that kind of money online actually do report it. Something tells me it's not very many at all.

Well good luck actually making that much from survey sites. In my experience it's almost impossible to find sites that pay out in cash. Most like to give discounts or points on purchases. And as for reporting income, be careful to keep receipts for expenses, in case you ever do have to end up paying tax on this income.

I have heard that the survey stuff is not what it used to be and I would hate to go through all of that trouble to only make a few bucks. Are there really any reliable places out there anymore?
