I couldn't do without mine since I am online a lot. There are different connections that you can have to help save money though. Just depends on how fast you want your connection to be.
Internet is an important part of my life, so to speak. It is a good source to search information from. And, without the internet, I wouldn't have been earning extra income to help pay the bills.
I love having the internet at home. It's hard to believe that I used to go to the library to go online, but I guess many of us did. I think of it as a utility like the phone.
Mine is amazing on most days but this past week has been really weird and no one seems to have any reason for it. They have been nice enough to give us a credit for the inconvenience though which is appreciated.
It would be a disaster if I couldn't access the internet from home. You can really save a lot by doing things online instead of in the old ways. I am talking about Skype instead of long distance and international calls, and PayPal instead of wire transfers.
Having the internet at home is well worth the money. I don't miss going to the movies at all with all of the videos you can watch online. I also save money by comparison shopping not to mention all the good deals you can only get online.
Mine is a blessing and I have had zero issues that were not fixed within minutes of reporting it. I think I am only one of the few though, lately I know at least four people having net issues.
Anyway, a few years ago I heard a rumor that Google planned to provide free internet connection service to the people living in the city Google headquarter is located. I am not sure if it was true or remained a rumor.
Now that is interesting. I don't remember ever heard of the rumor. Then again, I forget many things. What type of connection they said they would provide the citizens?
