Has anyone ever had to do this before? I did years ago, fresh out of school while living with roomies. Nothing major but it seems more people these days are borrowing from friends & family then wonder why years down the line end up in court getting sued for it.
l've always been such a saver that I've never had to borrow money other than car loans. Money is such a hot-button issue, and I've always felt it was a bad idea to borrow or lend to family. You don't want to lose the money or the relative!
I don't remember ever borrowing money from families or friends after I started my own family. But sometimes I borrowed money from my siblings in my teenage years. Nothing major though.
I've had to borrow from my parents before when I was younger. My first car seemed to break down monthly, if not weekly sometimes and I needed it to get to and from work. So a lot of my paychecks went pretty much to them for car repairs.
