I have always been thrifty, some might even say cheap. I just prefer to scrimp in some places, so I can splurge on more important stuff. Looking forward to making friends, with like-minded people.

The time to save is now. When a dog gets a bone, he doesn't go out and make a down payment on a bigger bone. He buries the one he's got.
It's great that you have a natural tendency to save. Saving was definitely something that I had to learn because I was not necessarily raised with saving money as a common occurrence in the home.
