For those who do their hobby to make a living, do you still enjoy doing it? Does Christiano Ronaldo still enjoy playing soccer, or will he do his other hobbies during the off season?
It's not really a hobby anymore if it's your business. If you love it and can make a living off of it I think that's great, it's better to follow your bliss. I'm sure perfecting one's craft, doing it for yourself, or having other hobbies are all great for down time.
I agree, it's great to do what you love and get paid for that. But it wouldn't be so much fun anymore when you do your hobby for money (it's not that it's wrong though), as you will feel that you have to do that as your job.
