I assume that you and your siblings have started your own family. Have you ever been in a situation where any of your siblings were jealous of your financial stability? How did you cope with it?
Well, financially I am not in the situation where my siblings or anybody else would be jealous of, if you know what I mean. But if I were, I think I couldn't do anything significant about that.
We don't have too much money to be jealous of either. Anyway, it is a tricky situation. I don't think there would be so much you could do. It would be your siblings' problems, not yours.
I'm so lucky, my brother and I do not do this at all. I'm happy that he is financially stable and he is happy that I am. If I needed anything, he would be there and I would do the same for him.
You know that expression about not being able to choose your relatives. I don't think anyone is jealous of my financial position at the moment, but people are always envious about something. You either ignore it, or ignore the person.
Yes, I agree that people can always find something to be envious about. In our childhood, my youngest brother were envious of his siblings because he was the shortest among us. Go figure!
I really do not think any of mine are jealous but some do not understand my work life, which sometimes tends to be more than theirs. I am not knocking any of them either but some work 8-5 and at 5 they are out the door, I have always been a hard worker so if I need to stay late to wrap something up, I will.
I am glad we don't have such an issue. I always believe that you deserve what you have, and you are responsible for what happens to you. Nothing to be jealous of.
