I can't believe it but I think the kids are actually ready for school to start back. I'm kind of ready myself. I think boredom is starting to set in and they miss all their friends.

There are a few in our family who are the exact same way. By the time winter break is half over it has already been too long for them to try and sit still any longer. Once Santa comes they are ready to get back into a normal routine. You know in a month when they are back they are going to wish they were back on break.

My kids are not ready to go back just yet. They have not been off for a full week yet - they had school all last week. We live for vacations! No fighting with them to get up in the morning. No fighting to do homework either.
