It was such a nice day yesterday that we decided to go on a hiking trip. There are lots of trails to follow in the National Forest that is close to where we live. We took plenty of water and some snacks and spent about 3 hours enjoying the day as a family.

Yeah for the good weather. It sounds like you all had a ball. Tell me, do you go skiing or anything on that trail in bad weather? My kids have been asking when we can go cross-country skiing.

We love to do things like this when the weather is like it has been lately. Not to hot and not freezing! It's always fun going out on the trails with our camera too. We never know what we are going to see and want to get a picture of.

I wish we could have done that, the entire weekend it rained on our parade! Sounds like you got to visit nature and take a breather. I am hoping this weekend the weather clears up for us.
